Travel Photography / National Plan for Vacation Day

One of the goals I have for when I retire (many many years from now) is that I hope I am able to travel the world. I guess this is a lot of people's goals. Although its going to be quite expensive, it gives me hope to be able to see places that I've never seen. Growing up in the South seeing beautiful landscapes was a part of life, but there's so much more out there that I want to see. There are a lot of cultural and religious places that are on my must-see list.

Oahu, Hawaii - Taken while deep sea fishing. No we didn't catch anything...lol...but it was such a beautiful morning.

Somewhere over Afghanistan - Taken while flying in a helicopter. This was my first official photo after buying my first DSLR for my birthday.

American Samoa - Taken while on a hike. I had never seen so many frogs all together in the same place. It was eerie and wonderful all at the same time.

Near Clarksville, TN - Taken from my car early one morning headed to work.

South Carolina (Harbison Lake) - This beautiful lake was right behind the hotel I was staying at while on a work trip.

Guam - Taken while doing a building inspection. This guy (or gal) was just hanging out on the wall.
